HISTORY

Headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, Super Test Oil has evolved through 3 generations in the petroleum marketing business. George Dexter started in the petroleum business in the 1940’s as an agent for Sinclair Oil, distributing petroleum products to accounts in and around Tippecanoe County.

In 1958 Dan Dexter (George's son) and Charles Kenny Jr. (George's son-in-law) started Super Test oil and ran Super Test thru 1983, when David Kenny (Dan’s nephew, Charles' son) took over Super test Oil.

Today Super Test oil operates 5 Super Test Convenience Stores and one card lock system. Super Test sells an unbranded fuel under the Super Test name.

Super Test has been family owned and operated since 1940.
